Roberta Rose (Thompson) Towne

Roberta Rose (Thompson) Towne age 84 of Lowell, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband Albert K. Towne. Roberta is survived by sons, Dale R. (Jeff Vander Ploeg) Towne, and Russell (Deborah) Towne; sister Sandra Van Weelden; brothers, Germaine (Janet) Thompson, and William Thompson; grandchildren, Jessika (Andre Henderson) Towne, Justyne (Anton Krivoruchko) Towne, and Jacob Towne; great-grand son, Kai Henderson and many nieces and nephews. A Lifelong citizen of Lowell, she held a deep affection for her home town but she loved her family most of all. The family will greet friends and relatives from 7-9pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N Hudson, Lowell, MI 49331. Mass of Christian burial at 11 am on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at St. Mary’s Church, 402 Amity St., Lowell, MI 49331, with visitation one hour prior. Fr. Michael Goodwin presiding. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to Gilda’s Club.
