Penny Grover, age 63 of Lowell, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 6, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Grover Jr; mother, Patricia Grover; 6 aunts; and 8 uncles. Penny is survived by her husband, James D. Phillips Jr.; children, James D. – Raven Phillips, Susan – Timothy Hill, Maria Phillips, Amanda Contreras, Nicole Cushman; grandchildren, Madelyn, Ethan, Heidi, Sophia, Zackary, Brenden, Amaris; siblings, Pam Bramer, Faith Pigeon, Mindy Anderson, John Grover; sisters-in-law, Mary, Barb, Patty, Tonya; aunt, Jackie Cash; nephews, Donald Grover, Scott Van Deusen, Bryan Anderson, Joseph Bramer; nieces, Sara Berkampas, Dana Babe, Leah Childs, and pets, Precious, Tinkerbell, and Moses.
In her younger years, Penny expressed herself through cheerleading, pom poms, and being a ring girl for professional boxing matches. She enjoyed dancing and bowling. Penny kept busy by completing word searches and coloring with her daughter, Susan. She loved watching her favorite team, the Denver Broncos, and family poker nights. Above all, Penny treasured her time spent with family.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, with visitation starting at 11am. Rev. Faith Pigeon officiating.

My Dear Bestie from our younger years you will always remain in my heart along with the memories . We laughed and played our games through the storms with our first Loves. We will meet again in our eternal life with our father and son .Was glad to have been part of your family and Blessed to have spent some of your final hours with you. Until we meet again. 🫂😘
