Paul Michael Walters

Paul Michael Walters, age 72 of Grand Rapids passed away, Thursday, August 28, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Alandina “Neng” Walters; children, Paul and Christina Walters, Alan Walters; grandchild, Alana Jada Walters; sisters, Pam Shaffer, Eileen Schullo; brother-in-law, Don Shaffer; sister-in-law, Carol Heeringa; uncle, Frank and Rina Tucker; nieces and nephews, Mike and Debbie Shepard, David, John, and Kim Heeringa, Rob McKenna, Jim Minto, Sue Cooper, Mitchell and Marlene Jordan, Doming and Jeanna Galang, and Fe Reed. Paul was a lot to a lot of people. A dedicated husband and kind understanding father who was generous to both friends and family with his time and plenty of times with his assets, helping those with what and when he could. Paul was a one-of-a-kind hardworking, kindhearted person that put his family and their future first. He taught them an appreciation for the water and to have respect for it. He also taught appreciation for golf and humility throughout my life. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday, September 5, 2025, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4351 Parnell Ave NE, Ada, MI 49301 with visitation one-hour prior. Rev. Thomas Cavera presiding. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
