Our beloved father, Paul Albert Romano, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at the age of 94. He was preceded in death by his wife, Adele. Paul is survived by his children, Paula (Jon) Aylsworth, Nancy (Don) DeMaagd, Cindy (Chris) Wissman; grandchildren, Jack (Lauren) Aylsworth, Amy (Joey) McConnell, Stephen (Leia) DeMaagd, Emily (Zach) DeGroot, Brian DeMaagd, Maggie (Tim) Antel, Catie Wissman; and 10 great-grandchildren. Paul was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War as a Sergeant I Class. He went on to work for Eastman Kodak Company for over 35 years. Paul enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his positive attitude. Visitation will be 1:30pm and Memorial services will be held at 2:30pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Road SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546, Pastor Brady Nemmers officiating. Memorial Contributions can be made in Paul’s memory to Gentiva Hospice, 625 Kenmoor Ave., SE Suite 115 Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Interment Cascade Cemetery.

Sorry for you and your family he was an awesome human being im blessed to have known him.
I remember Paul and Adele coming over with Paula and they laughed so hard. They had good times with my parents. I’m sure he will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family.
