Norma Ann Krieger, 89, died on the 6th day of September 2025 strong in the faith and love of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Eugene, and now joins him in eternal salvation.
Norma was born in Traverse City on the 5th of March 1936. She was baptized on the 12th of April 1936 and later confirmed in her faith on the 5th of June 1949 both at Trinity Lutheran Church in Traverse City. Her confirmation text read, “Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.” She was married to Eugene on the 8th of July 1955, and she was blessed with three sons, Philip (Susan), Jonathan (Sherrie) and Paul (Lily) and later grandchildren Michael, Katherine, Benjamin, Laura, Elizabeth, David, Ethan, and finally several great grandchildren.
Norma loved working long days in her garden and reading so many books over her lifetime. However, it was the time spent in her Bible pouring over scripture that took priority in her life. How diligent she was preparing for Bible Study!
The family would like to offer heartfelt thanks to those special friends that remained faithful to the end, to Pastor Swem, Pastor Fleming, and her church family at Our Savior, and lastly the loving staff at Beacon Hill who attended to her care in her last years.
