Michael Darwin Ordway

Michael “Mike” Ordway, age 63 of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 30, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Ordway. Mike is survived by his wife, Melissa; children, Karlye Ordway-Russ, Danielle Ordway, Colton Bailey; mother, Jewel Ordway; mother and father-in-law, John and Nancy Bailey; brothers, Dave (Cindy) Ordway, Paul Ordway, Andy (Toni) Ordway, sister, Michelle (Jeff) Watrous; and several nieces and nephews. Mike was continually active in the Lowell Rotary Club and Lowell F.F.A. He generously donated his time and talents to the Lowell community, specifically to Lowell Area Schools athletics programs, and Boy Scout Troop 102. He loved spending time with his family, camping, spending time outdoors, family vacations, fishing, vintage cars, and playing the guitar. Mike was a cherished member of the Lowell community and a great friend to so many. We will all miss his stories and offbeat sense of humor and companionship. 21 years ago, Mike, along with his brothers, started Three Brothers Pizza. He took immense pride in this joint business venture. Mike took joy in his daily conversation with his regular customers, always eager to meet new ones. A celebration of Mike’s life is to be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Lowell Rotary Club or Lowell Kent County Youth Fair.
