Mayme Ruth Ireland

Mayme Ruth Ireland, age 96 of Lowell, born September 23, 1928, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Mayme is survived by her children, Kathy (Ken) Akers, Kristine (Mark) Karlek; grandchildren, Kendra (Mike) Eldridge, Bethany (Rob) Ganus, Katherine (Adam) Roll, Kristofer (Diedre) Karlek, Karrie (Nick) Gumina, Kristine (Matt) Hendricks, Victoria (Jeramy) Karlek; and nine great-grandchildren. Mayme graduated from Clare High School in Clare Michigan and worked at Laurels of Kent in Lowell as part of the Activity Department. She was an avid reader who was known by the entire library staff, she also enjoyed sewing, cross-stitch and crochet. Above all she cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
