Mary Therese Buck (Cleary), age 63 of Ada, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence & Joyce Cleary. Mary is survived by her husband of 31 years, Dave; daughter, Melanie Buck; brothers, Larry (Christine) Cleary, Michael (Denise) Cleary, Joe Cleary; sisters, Patty (David) Peltz, Marcia Cleary, Susanne (Scott) Gordon, Karen Cleary; brothers-in-law, Mark (Susan) Buck, Dan (Jen) Buck, Jim Buck; nieces and nephews, Charles (Dawn Modic) Robinson, Mitch (Kristi) Robinson, Raquel (Jake) VanderZanden, Andrew (Samantha) Cleary, Erika (Jason Harris) Cleary, Cody Gordon, Amanda (Jake) Stover, Dan (Andrea) Swenson, Kimi (Matt) Hardin, Trevor Buck, Scott (Leah) Buck, Alyssa Buck, and Morgan Buck. She graduated from Ottawa Hills High School, class of ’78, and attended Aquinas College. Mary served her community as a Postal Worker in Kentwood. In her free time, she enjoyed horseback riding, boating, and gardening. Visitation with the family will be held from 3-5PM on Friday, January 26, 2024, at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Road SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49546. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at St. Robert of Newminster Catholic Church, 6477 Ada Drive SE, Ada, Michigan 49301, with visitation one hour prior. Deacon John Ashmore officiating. Memorial Contributions in Mary’s memory can be made to Parkinson’s Association of West Michigan.
