CUDZANOWSKI, Mary Ann, OP (formerly Sister Mary Ralph) of Grand Rapids died on March 12, 2015. She was 82 years old and a Dominican Sister for 58 years.

Sister Mary Ann was born in Grand Rapids. She attended St. Adalbert’s School and graduated from Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School. She worked for several years during and after high school, where she encountered the spirit and service of the Grand Rapids Dominican Sisters. She entered the Congregation in 1955.

Very dedicated to ministry, Sr. Mary Ann held several long-term roles of internal service. Her message at the time of her Golden Jubilee was “T.E.A.M. – Together Everyone Accomplishes More.” For many years she served in the Congregation’s laundry, as driver for the Mother General, as head of the printing and graphic arts department and lastly as the mailroom director. She was especially known for her mastery of the multilith printing press, on which she produced many useful and beautiful publications. Her favorite pastimes were fishing, swimming, bingo, and traveling –she visited 48 states and five foreign countries.

Sr. Mary Ann loved community life and was close to her family. She is survived by nieces and nephews, many friends and members of her Dominican community.

Sister Mary Ann will repose at Dominican Chapel/Marywood, 2025 Fulton Street East with visitation Friday, March 13 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with a Remembering Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14 at Dominican Chapel/Marywood. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials in Sister Mary
