Martenia Lula Salinas (LaBlanc) passed away on Oct. 19, 2023, age 96.
She was born in Boyne City, Michigan to Albert and Lula LaBlanc on Oct. 13, 1927, and married Horacio Salinas in 1955. She lived the rest of her life in Wyoming, MI. She loved her family, cards,puzzles, making jam, and praying the rosary. She will be dearly missed by her family.
Martenia is survived by her children: Monique, Lisa Nelson, Anita, Joe (Darci), Tony (Yoletta),Carlos (Jayme), Duane (Molly), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband (Horacio) and daughter (Michele).
Visitation will start at 9:00 am, followed by a Rosary at 9:30 am on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023, at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, 215 Sheldon Blvd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. The Mass of the Resurrection begins at 10 am. A luncheon will follow. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery, with graveside service at 1:00 pm.
