Marion Frances Wheat, age 91 of Lowell, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Wheat; parents, Lloyd and Evelyn Batey; daughter-in-law, Deb Wheat; brothers, Gorden and Jack Batey; sisters, Norma (Walter) Lowing, Jacqueline (Edward) Brimmer; in-laws, John and Mary Wheat, Evelyn (Dan) Free, Philip (Juanita) Wheat, Olive Cook, Doris (Delmar)Carlson, Arther Botma, Virginia Roberts. Marion is survived by her children Cherry Wheat, Rex Wheat; grandchildren, Tara Hamilton, Cassy Wheat, Jermey Davis; great-grandchildren, Braiden, Lanedon, Gracyn Hamilton, Riley, Mason Davis, brother Lloyd (Pam) Batey; sisters-in-law, Alice Wheat, Marylou Bothma; Many nieces and nephews; and a special thank you to Leann Gonzelez for being there. Marion was a remarkable individual who took great pride in her accomplishments, especially her graduation from adult night school. She actively contributed to the community at the Lowell Senior Center and FROM. Her warm smile and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
