Marie Christine Smith

Marie Christine Smith, age 78 of Lowell, passed away November 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramiro and Mary Jane Walss; husband, Jim Smith; son, Andrew Smith; sisters, Rosemary DeYoung, Marietta Crawford. Marie is survived by her significant other, Allen Crum; son, Shawn (Linda) Smith; daughter, Kelly Smith; grandchildren, Domonic and Olivia Persico, Logan and Elijah Smith; sisters, Judy (Bob) Griffin, Mary Jane DeYoung, Arleen (Howard) Hendee, Theresa Pease, Adele DeBoer, Kathleen Simmons, and Carmen Walss. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at St. Robert of Newminster Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior. Fr. Tony Russo presiding. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be directed towards the Humane Society of West Michigan,  Meltrotter Ministries, or West Michigan Veterans Coalition.
