Lynn Homolka-Brewer, age 64, passed peacefully into eternal rest on August 29, 2026. Born April 12, 1962, Lynn brought warmth, kindness, and light to everyone around her. In 1988 she moved to California where she met and married Tony Brewer, the love of her life, on September 15, 2001. Guided by their faith they built a life filled with wonderful memories and lasting friendships. She eventually returned home to Michigan after the death of Tony. Her family remains deeply grateful to have had Lynn back home to reconnect and build cherished memories.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Beverly Homolka and her beloved husband, Tony Brewer.
She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts: her siblings, Gay (Bob) Pfaller, Joy Homolka, Scott (Susan) Homolka, and her twin brother Mark (Ha) Homolka. Lynn was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, Jeff (Sandi) Pfaller, Brian (Mandy) Pfaller, Tony Homolka, Lauren (Randall) Holton, and Mari (Henrique) Morais, along with many great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved dearly. Lynn is also survived by her late husband’s family in California as well as many close friends who will miss her dearly.
Visitation services will take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Roth-Gerst Funeral home, 305 N. Hudson Lowell, Michigan, 49331. Funeral Survices will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 11:00am with a visitation one hour prior, at Keystone Community Church, 655 Spaulding Ave SE, Ada Michigan 49301.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Lynn’s honor can be made to Flat River Outreach Ministries (FROM) 11535 Fulton St. E. Lowell, Michigan 49331 and Pink Arrow Pride.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I did not know Lynn well, but enjoyed a conversation with her on our Club W trip to the lantern festival at John Ball Zoo.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Lynn. She was a very sweet girl. She was also a long time neighbor along with a wonderful family of siblings. My heart and prayers go out to the family.
The first time I met Lynn was in California, her husband Tony was in a band and we went to see them. From the start, anyone could feel the love ❤️ between Lynn and Tony. It was special, kind, loving and electric! He played, sang and danced to “The Bird”. You could see the love and pride in Lynn’s eyes as she gazed at Tony. Joy, Lynn and I laughed and danced to Tony’s on stage shenanigans. An unforgettable first meet. I came to know Lynn through her sister Joy and realized what a special “one of a kind, beautiful soul she is.” God has a gained a true angel and in my mind I believe Lynn is dancing and laughing with Tony again. Rest in Peace beautiful Lynn. Hugs to you Joy and your family.
My condolences to the Homolka Families. I remember going with my mom to visit/welcome the Homolkas when they first moved into the neighborhood I was so excited there was another girl to play with 😊
Lynn was always so happy when I’d run into her, usually at Riverwalk concerts. I pray fond memories of Lynn never fade.
