Lynda Marie Bohley, a beloved mother, grandmother, and lifelong friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on the afternoon of Monday, November 24, 2025. She was born on February 28, 1945.
Lynda’s life was a testament to love, unwavering faith, and vibrant pink. She was a woman of deep convictions and boundless warmth, leaving behind a legacy rooted in family, friendship, and the flourishing gardens she so adored. Her signature color was an integral part of her joyful spirit; she not only wore pink constantly but cheerfully decorated her entire home in the cheerful hue.
She is now reunited with her husband, Teddy (Ted) Warren Bohley. Lynda and Ted were high school sweethearts who shared a beautiful, committed life together from the age of 17 until Ted’s passing a few years ago.
Lynda was a devoted servant of God. She loved being in church and embraced every opportunity to share the word and love of the Lord.
Beyond her faith, she was a renowned Master Gardener whose touch brought life and beauty to everything she tended. Her gardens were her sanctuary and her pride, and she loved celebrating them by hosting annual garden parties, inviting her friends to enjoy coffee and shared moments of beauty among her plants.
Lynda took immense pride in her family, acting as their proudest champion. She cheerfully celebrated every accomplishment. No matter how small to anyone who would listen. Her loyalty extended to her many friends; she treasured these bonds, maintaining a lifelong friendship with her cherished best friend whom she met at the age of twelve.
Lynda is lovingly remembered by her two daughters:
Lisa Fedewa and her husband, Doug
Amy VanDyke, David Deering.
She was the beloved grandmother of four:
Aaron Fedewa and his wife, Hanna.
Harley Houlden and her husband, Brian.
Kendra Fedewa and her partner, Zack Muhlhausen. Lexis VanDyke and her fiancé, Raymond Lapp
Lynda was also the proud “Great-Grandma” to six great-grandchildren:
Adelae, Teagan, Sawyer, Ruger, Siles and Arya

In lieu of sending flowers, the family suggests a donation to Alpha Grand Rapids. As Lynda loved flowers so much but notoriously did not pass on her exceptional green thumb to her daughters, memorial contributions will instead ensure a lasting legacy of hope.
