Lloyd George Powell Jr. “Pockets”, age 66 of Walker, passed away September 24, 2025, after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Sr. and Betty Powell; sisters, Fondarae Brown, Shelley (Chris) Thomas; and brother, Lewis David Powell. Lloyd Jr. is survived by his sons, Lloyd III and Timothy Powell; sister, Jane (Bill) Smith; aunt, Gloria King; and many nieces and nephews. Lloyd Jr. was originally from Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School. One final act of kindness was Lloyds decision to be an organ donor, blessing the lives of many. Private graveside services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Lowell, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

I remember you from high school, you were a good person, and so silly. Rest peacefully my friend
