Lewis David Powell

Lewis David Powell, age 69 of Lowell, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Sr. and Betty Powell; sisters, Fondarae Brown, Shelley (Chris) Thomas. Lewis is survived by his sister, Jane (Bill) Smith; brother, Lloyd Powell Jr.; aunt, Gloria King; also, his nieces and nephews. Lewis worked and retired from Steelcase. He loved driving his drag racing cars.

Private graveside services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
