Lee Durham passed away unexpectedly in his home after a brief illness. Those who knew Lee, knew a wonderful, generous, kind, loving, sweet, and loyal man. Lee was born on January 18, 1961, in Dearborn to Norman and Maria Durham. He graduated from Annapolis High School in 1979 and attended Ferris State University. Lee was a whiz at computers and was a Senior Computer Systems Engineer for Corewell Health. He was fiercely protective of his family, supported his children’s dreams, and made sure everyone in his life knew how much he loved and valued them. Lee was an avid sports fan, dedicated to his Lions, Red Wings, and the Tigers. His favorite past time was golfing and enjoying good company of people he loved. He had a great love of animals and considered their 3 family dogs his babies and loved spoiling them. Lee had an infectious laugh and would always tell you he loved you when he said goodbye. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Durham, and sister-in-law, Kim Durham. Lee is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer; sons, James, Lee Jr.; daughters, Nicole, Rachel (Diana Ramirez); six grandchildren, Hayden, Aaron, Easton, Scott, Cole, Sophia; brother, Terry Durham; sister, Kelly Durham (Ken Johnson); niece, Casey Durham; nephews, Jeremy and Tyler Durham, Evan, Ryan, and Matthew Bellas; adoring sister-in-law, Rebekah Bellas; brother-in-law, Richard Bellas; and many lifelong friends.
The family is planning a memorial golf outing in the spring, as Lee wanted to bring family and friends together to have fun and share memories.
