Kenneth “Ken” Olson passed away on November 24, 2023, in his home. He was 90 years old and was loved endlessly by his family and friends.
He worked for CSX railroad for 44 years before retiring in 1995. He then worked part time for Fallsburg Park for the next 13 years.
Ken was an avid hunter who also enjoyed watching movies. Anyone who knew him knew there was nothing he enjoyed doing more than exploring new casinos. His family and friends will miss his sense of humor, his quick smile, and gentle spirit.
He is survived by his loving wife Sherry, his children Ken (Janet) Olson, Brent and Diane Dingman, and his chosen daughter, Julie (Pete) Heimer. He was a grandfather to Carl and Elisabeth Olson, Dane and Zeke Dingman, and Seth, Troy, and Beau Heimer. He had a large extended family filled with many nieces and nephews and in-laws, whom he cared for very much.
His family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
