Judith Lynn Blum, age 55, of Grand Rapids, passed into her new life on Friday, February 13, 2026.
Judy was preceded in death by her father, George Blum, and her grandparents, Alwin and Mary Blum, and Alfred and Bertha Hansen.
She is survived by her loving mother, Mary Ann Blum; her sisters, MaryBeth (Dennis) Menke and Ann Marie (Michael) Sullivan; one niece; four nephews; many cousins; and her cherished great-niece and great-nephew, who brought her immense joy.
Judy attended Grand Rapids Public Schools and faithfully volunteered at Metropolitan Hospital for 17 years, a testament to her generous and caring heart. She loved the color purple and was deeply devoted to her family and friends.
The family extends special thanks to Michael and Kiki Lown, Brian and Twila Ashley, and Rita for their kindness, love, and support.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary Service at O’Brien‑Eggebeen‑Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 20, 2026, with visitation one-hour prior at St. Thomas the Apostle, 1449 Wilcox Park Dr. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

She became a big part of my life and I’m going to always be saying prayers for her cause I know she’s at peace now but it doesn’t make it easy that she’s gone, but I will always keep her in my heart
