Joyce Stark

Joyce Stark, age 81, of Lowell passed away August 30, 2024. She is preceded in death by her son, Colin Deible; parents Ora and Edith Fosburg; brothers Don, Dale, Bob, and Jimmy; sisters, Nancy, Theresa, and Betty. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Brenda Deible, and Robin (Tom) Esterline; special friend Warren Courtney; grandchildren, Brad (Lisa) Esterline, Lindsay Deible, Kayla Deible, Amanda Deible, Nicole (Shane) Lehman, Rachelle (Bob) Dykstra, Colin (Megan) Esterline, and Shane Esterline; 19 great-grandchildren; Sister Janice Bursley; brothers, Mark (Sara) Fosburg, and Russell Fosburg; and many nieces and nephews. Joyce retired from Canteen Services. She volunteered at the First United Methodist Church, Kids Club, United Methodist Church Women’s Ministry, Warm Friends Bible Study, FROM, and the Saranac Boston Historical Society. Joyce loved children, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed dancing, crafting, sewing, family gatherings, taking care of people, and took a special pride in her garden. Memorial contributions can be made to Women’s Action Network / The HatRack, 124 W. Grove Street, Greenville, MI 48838. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N Hudson, Lowell, MI 49331. Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 5, at 11am with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Brad Brillhart officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
