Always enjoyed seeing John when our paths crossed. He was a wonderful man who genuinely cared about others and would always make you feel comfortable in his presence. RIP John
John was the best uncle, I always had so much fun visiting the Knapes! I learned so much from him as well- water skiiing, table tennis, pool (I still play left handed), boating, and how to serve a cold drink. He lived a wonderful life and will be missed.
Our family had several opportunities to visit with John and Joanne. Always gracious he loved to chat – especially with my dad. I was so happy to visit with John several years ago in Omaha. What a treat – what a great guy. I’m so glad to know him and will miss him and his great smile.
