I’m so deeply saddened to hear of Jean’s passing. We had a lot of good times when I worked with her at HMIC and then after she retired meeting up at Gun Lake to play some games and maybe eat, depending on if she was interested in eating or not.
She loved her family and was so proud of all of her children and grandchildren, she would always have pictures or stories to share about what was going on everyone’s life. She also loved to tell me about how her sister and her family was doing and you could tell they had a marvelous bond also. I will not be able to make it to the services but wanted to express how much I will miss her and how important all of you were to her.
Prayers for comfort.
I am so sorry to hear this. I briefly worked with Jean in downtown GR at Amerisure in 1997. At the time, I was new there and she was so welcoming, helpful and very nice and then she discovered I also lived in Ada , so we had that. I remember her always talking about her family. I only stayed at Amerisure for about 6 months before I moved on but I never forgot her. My prayers go out to her loved ones during this difficult time.
We have been neighbors of Dick and Jean for many years but didn’t become very close but did exchange an occasional wave or smile. I worked with Dick at Gezon motors a long time ago and shared a lot of breaks and experiences while there.
Thoughts and prayers for the Kruizenga family and friends.
