James E. Blackwell

James E. Blackwell, of Roanoke passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023. He is survived by his two sons, Ryan and Case. James completed his undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame, and received his medical doctorate from the Wayne State School of Medicine. He practiced medicine for over 30 years with Radiology Associates in Roanoke, Va., serving as the group’s president. He was an avid golfer who could often be found walking the Hunting Hills Country Club course. James’ unique wit and way with words brought joy to all who knew him. He will be dearly missed. Visitation and eulogies will be held on Friday, April 21, 3 p.m. at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell, Michigan, 49331.
