Giles Lewis Courtney

Giles Lewis Courtney, age 97 of Grand Rapids, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away peacefully during the afternoon on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the age of 97. He is survived by his devoted family: six children, sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, sister, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Andrew’s Cathedral in Grand Rapids, MI on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 10am. The family would like to thank the extraordinary staff at Beacon Hill Assisted Living for their wonderful care of him, especially Yvonne, Layla, Jeremy, Doug and Julia.
