Gary Lee Brailey

Gary Lee Brailey, age 58, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 9, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Brailey; and father-in-law, Robert Murphy. Gary is survived by his wife and best friend of 24yrs, Lucy; a loving father to George Kruer, Anna (Christopher) LaRoche, Martina Kruer. Mother, Sharon (Gerry) Westmaas; mother-in-law, Jane Murphy; brother, Richard (Jill) Brailey; sisters, Christine (Kevin) Foley, Julie (Martin) Carteng; adoring Papa to his grandchildren, Theodore and Esme LaRoche; sisters-in-law, Robin (Tom) Kramer, Tammy (Jim) James; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Gary was a free-spirited and had a great sense of humor. He loved his family, friends, music and he lived life to the fullest.  Visitation will be Tuesday, August 13 from 1-3 PM at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 with a Celebration of Gary’s Life Service at 3 PM.
