Earl Paul Wosinski

Earl Paul Wosinski, age 83, of Grand Rapids, a Navy Veteran, beloved father, and cherished friend, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Paul Wosinski Sr. and Florence Wosinski; brothers, Joseph Wosinski, Kenneth Wosinski, Don Wosinski; and sister-in-law, Kathy Wosinski. Earl is survived by his wife of 62 years, Delores Wosinski; children, Lisa (Kurt ) Deck, Sheila (Harlin ) Jones, Edward (Deb) Wosinski; brother, Phillip (Deb)Wosinski; sisters, Margaret (Robert) Robach, Janet (Forrest) Breimeyer; sister-in-law, Janet Wosinski; grandchildren, Garrett Deck, Austin Defrain, Olivia Deck, Kelsey Chamberlin, Joel Partee, Justin Partee, John Partee, Michaela Duke, Alyssa Jones, Abby Righter, Maddie Wosinski; great-grandchildren, Lydia, Harper, Isabella, Julian, Jesse, Nora, Hannah; and many nieces and nephews. Earl was also highly active with the St. Patrick’s Catholic School. His knack for humor extended to being an expert at telling “Dad” jokes, which brought smiles to all who heard them. Camping trips, card games, and car shows were a passion of his. But Earl’s greatest gift was his ability to give the warmest, most comforting hugs, making everyone feel cherished. Earl had an extensive circle of friends, and he held each one close to his heart. Yet, the truest source of joy in his life was his family and friends, whose love and companionship he cherished more than anything else. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4351 Parnell Ave NE, Ada, MI 49301 with visitation one hour prior. Rev. David Jameson presiding. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the local Kidney Foundation.

  1. In life you meet a few friends which become family Earl was one of them. John and I feel blessed that we had the opportunity to be a part of his life. He will forever be remembered by us through all the good times we had. When John watches college football he will always remember Michigan
