Carol Rothwell, age 82, of Ada, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024. She was preceded in death by her sons, Steven J. Rothwell, and Joseph A. Rothwell. Carol is survived by John W. Rothwell her husband of 60 years; son, John P. (Jill) Rothwell; daughter-in-law, Erika Rothwell; grandchildren, Karoline K. Rothwell, Evan N. Rothwell; sister-in-law, Crissy Czerwon; brothers-in-law, James (Emanel) Rothwell, William (Betsy) Rothwell, and Thomas (Anne) Rothwell. Carol graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1960. She attended Mercy Central School of Nursing in Muskegon. Carol was employed by Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, and Ferguson and Blodgett Hospitals in Grand Rapids. She enjoyed golfing, knitting, reading, and especially being a grandmother. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, with visitation one-hour prior at St. Robert of Newminster Parish, 6477 Ada Dr. SE, Ada, MI 49301. Rev. Logan Weber presiding. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mary Free Bed Foundation, 235 Wealthy St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.

It has been our pleasure to have known Carol for personally for 55 years as well as john. Deepest sympathy to John r, LOhp & Wife Jill, Erika, Karoline and Evan.
