Donald Sterzick, age 93, of Alto, passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side. Donald lived a long life marked by dedication, hard work, and a deep love for his family.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barb; his children, Larry (Kim) Fosburg, Dave (Rhonda) Fosburg, Scott (Christine) Fosburg, and Pam (Brian) Sterzick-Veldhof; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great pride and joy.
Donald graduated from Caledonia High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany. He carried that sense of service and discipline throughout his life.
An outdoorsman at heart, Donald enjoyed golfing, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and long walks. He especially loved cutting wood and staying busy, always finding satisfaction in a hard day’s work and the simple pleasures of being outside.
Donald will be remembered for his steady presence, strong work ethic, and the love he shared with his family. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2026.

Barb and Family I am so very sorry. Don was a very special friend and neighbor. Always a smile on his face, upbeat and loved to visit. There will be a big void in our Timpson Avenue gang get togethers.
