Donald Eugene Spaulding Sr.

Donald E. Spaulding Sr., age 78 of Alto, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna (Boilanger) Spaulding; nephew, Gary Callihan Jr.; and niece, Tammy Sutherland. Donald is survived by his children, Donald (Tammy) Spaulding Jr., Susanne (Spaulding) Bigelow; grandchildren, Kayla Graham-Thiel, Amanda (Josh) Miling, Terryce (Wayne) Blanchard, Josie Bigelow, Tallie (Adam) Reed; great-grandchildren, Carson, Mason, Liam, Jackson; brother, Steve (Joyce) Spaulding; sisters, Barb Fisher, Sandra Buckner, Joyce (Gary) Callihan; many nieces and nephews; too many friends to list; and cats, Ditto, and Ticky. Donald was a graduate of Forest Hills High School in 1963. He went on to work for Benedict Drywall for 40 years. Donald enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson with his friends, hunting, fishing, and hanging out with his Night Hawk Family. Celebration of Life will take place Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 1-4 pm at Night Hawk Grille & Bar, 6950 Whitneyville Ave. SE, Alto, MI 49302.
