While I didn’t know Denny directly, I knew him through the loving eyes of his wife, Mary.
This says everything I need to know about who Denny was as a man. Sending so much love to all the family and friends who will miss his earthly presence. He will live on, however, in the inspiration he has left behind in how to live, and to die, with courage and dignity.
I loved Denny’s kind welcoming nature. I loved finding him in his workshop when i would come to get Mary to take our hikes. And i would often come back post hike to find he had washed my car in our absence. That is the kind of guy Den was. God speed Denny and following seas.
I will miss Dennis as we were like brothers. I know Dennis is in a better place and isn’t suffering anymore. Love you Michael H Strand
