  1. Truly one of the good ones. He will be so missed by so many people. We will always remember his laugh and the fun times, the help he willingly gave, and his genuine interest in everything we had to say.

  2. To Cheryl and Family,
My very deepest sympathy. Dave’s presence in the TCPH Club while residing in Bay City will never be forgotten. He had such a special talent to make people feel special to him. His musical talents matched that unending twinkle in his eyes. Thank you for sharing him with countless others. He will be missed. 🙏❤️

  4. I first met David over 30 years ago at Dow / S. C. Johnson. I always enjoyed catching up with him in his office. To the core, David was a great guy. He had a great attitude right to the end. My sympathies to his family and his many friends. He will be greatly missed.

  5. We loved Dave like Family. He was a wonderful person who was always kind and generous. We will never forget ALL THE FUN we had with you two and the kids! He was the only man I know who would let Paco (cat) in and feed him too. He will be greatly missed.

  6. I was honored to have called you my friend. I feel anyone that met
You was a better person from it.
My prayers go out to your loved ones.

  7. Although it has been almost 40 years I can remember the countless hours of Dave volunteering his time to play catch and pitch for batting practice. He was the 1st person I ever remember playing an acoustic guitar while singing and I loved it, even as a little kid. Never saw him in a bad good or unwilling to help. He was the only father that high school kids feared to tee-pee because of his blazing speed and willingness to lie in wait in the bushes. He provided a lot great memories to my childhood and I will miss him.

  8. Our thoughts and prayers are with Cheryl and family. We will miss our conversations, laughter and card games with Dave. We will miss him.

  9. Cheryl, we will forever cherish all the good times at the many TCPH functions we celebrated with you and Dave!!! Sending our heartfelt sympathy to you!!!

  10. I was so saddened by this news. The world has lost a gem! Always such a positive attitude. I worked with Dave for many years, and always looked forward to our “therapy sessions” after a tough MSU loss. Prayers to Cheryl and family. May tou find peace in the many wonderful memories. GO GREEN!

  11. David you were truly an amazing person! Your true caring and friendship is unmeasured. Always happy and so truly genuine like your mother, grandma Doris. We’re happy your pain is gone, but will miss you so. Cheryl and family, we are so sorry his time has been cut short, so unfair. But the memories and the laughs shared with you will never be forgotten.

  15. Mr. Conner was a kind soul. He always asked me how my parents were doing and how life was going. He was always smiling and so happy. I recently saw Mr. Conner at his mother’s funeral and was able to give him a hug and chat with him. He loved his girls so much and treated all of their friends as one of his own. Amy and Alicia, I love you both, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Giant hugs to you both and your families. He will be missed.

  16. Dave was a truly delightful man. So kind and loving. Always a joy to be around. Our hearts go out to Cheryl and the rest of the family as they navigate through these difficult days. May Dave’s grace and love for his family continue to bring you comfort to you all.

  17. Always the light in the room

I worked with this man I considered a gift,
Always a friendly delight when we worked the same shift.

Dave Conner was a number one on everyone’s list,
Always Willingly available to give an assist.

You couldn’t have picked a better quality control guy.
We all tell ourselves, he isn’t with us anymore, we want to know why?

But God has a plan that shines light on his star.
He had an opening on his team, that called from afar.

Dave’s just the guy a voice of reason and love.
God knew he’d fill the position that fit the hand like a glove.

He had so many friends, he was always the light in the room.
We will always cherish you my friend, take that to the vault you’ll never have to assume.

    Miss you my friend!
    Enjoyed every interaction with you.
