Daniel Allen Wurl

Daniel A. Wurl, age 49, of Grand Rapids, passed away May 1, 2024, after a long but valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Susan M. Wurl (Kuhtic) and David A. Wurl; and brothers, Steven A. Wurl and D. Edward Wurl. Daniel is survived by his siblings Michelle K. (David) Wieber, Cynthia L. Szotko, S. Douglas (Tamara) Wurl, sister-in-law, LeAnn Wurl; nieces and nephews, Justin C. Wieber, Trevor J. Wieber, Derek J. Wieber, Anthony S. (Amber) Wurl, Bethany L. (Scott) Carelli, Ellen M. Wurl, Lucas R. Szotko, Wyatt S. Huyge, Zachary S. Wurl, Gabreille G. Wurl, and Sophia J. Wurl. Daniel was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and graduated from Forest Hills Northern High School. Daniel attended Grand Rapids Community College and held various jobs over his adult years, but he mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends and pursuing his passion for music and playing guitar. He adored his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and relished in family holidays and get-togethers.
