She worked primarily at Leigh’s at Breton Village, luxury clothing for women, where she was respected for her craftsmanship and dedication, continuing her work until the age of 83. Cristine was called by many “a wizard with a magical needle” for her remarkable ability to transform fabric into something beautiful and unique.
Cristine was married to Stanley Wroblewski for 68 years, a partnership that stood the test of time until Stanley’s passing on March 4, 2021. Together, they raised a family, and Cristine is survived by their children, Helen DeRuiter, John Wroblewski, Thaddeus Wroblewski, and Richard Wroblewski; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Regina Cwirko, of Montreal, Canada.
In addition to her remarkable talents, Cristine was known for her incredible generosity to all of her family. Her selflessness and unwavering support made her a pillar of strength for those around her, and her kindness will never be forgotten.
Cristine had a deep love for animals and was a devoted caretaker to her two cockatiels, Wojtous and Suzie, who were the center of her life and brought her immense joy.
Her legacy of resilience, skill, and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her.
