Clinton Metro Hopaluk, age 67, of Lowell, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, surrounded by his family and the care of Corewell Health Hospice.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and June Hopaluk, and his brother, Jim Hopaluk. Clint is lovingly remembered by his children, Adam (Hayley) Hopaluk, Tad (Tabitha) Weaver, and Amanda Weaver; grandchildren, Julieanne, Brett, Weston, Sienna, Jameson, Remy, Julian, Brynlee, Corrie, and Maizee; brother, John (Theresa) Hopaluk; sister, Patty Hopaluk; and many nieces and nephews, including Jack Hopaluk, Lauren Hopaluk, Anna Gay, Graham Gay, and Noah Gay.
Clint graduated from Rochester Adams High School and went on to build a career in construction and medical manufacturing. An outdoorsman through and through, he found his greatest joy in nature—whether fishing, hunting, camping, or snowmobiling. Some of his most cherished memories were made on Beaver Island, Sandy Shores, and Port Austin, sharing time and adventures with his family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell, Michigan 49331, with visitation beginning one hour prior. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Clint will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for the outdoors, and the many stories and memories he leaves behind.

Sending my prayers and condolences. I babysat for Clint and Liane back in the day. So many memories with the family and the birth of his son Adam. Sure going to miss his humor.

We enjoyed Clint’s company when he came out to our family reunion. He was a story teller.

He had an excellent visit with both sides of his Canadian family and had planned on a return last summer but sadly health concerns made that impossible.
