Carly Jo Kermeen, age 70 of Lowell, lost her battle with cancer Tuesday, October 30, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis & Helen Duffey; and sister Phyllis Alber. Carly is survived by her husband of 33 years, Don; daughter, Kerry (Scott) Sanders; sons Donny (Deb) Kermeen, Dennis (Brandy) Kermeen; brother-in-law Frank Alber; grandchildren, Dakota, Dana, Danielle, Kayla, Cassie, Ricky; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 4-7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 4, at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell, MI 49331. Funeral will be held Monday, November 5, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Lowell, 865 Lincoln Lake Ave. SE, Lowell, MI 49331; with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Jon Propper and Deacon Sandy Rogers officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Lowell. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church of Lowell.

I worked with Carly at the Middle School for years . We had such great laughs which I can still hear. Just can’t believe cancer took her away from us all. Unfortunately I will be out of the State and will not be here for visitation or funeral but will light a candle on Monday. Thinking of the family and know she will be missed
Carly has always been a very positive and caring person.

Don and Carly were adorable together and anytime I saw them,
A smile was immediately put on my face!
My heart aches for Don and their family.
I hope for them going forward,
Only wonderful and warm memories of their physical life with her….here on Earth!
I believe we all still serve a huge purpose even after we leave our bodies.
Her beautiful energy is and will always be with those she loved.
Such a nice person ,bowled with her for years , so much fun !
