Bill A. Ellison, age 58 of Lowell, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, December 12, 2015. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ruth and Albert Smith, Grant and Edna Ellison, as well as his mother, Delores Ellison. He is survived by his wife, Terri; children, Wayne (Katie Campbell) Baker and Kyle (Melissa Weil) Baker; father, Billie Ellison; brother, Dick (Gerri) Ellison; sister, Debra (Todd) Lenneman, and many nieces and nephews. Bill loved to fish, build model cars and was a big NASCAR fan especially of Dale Earnhardt Sr. He worked at NAPA for many years and considered them to be his second family. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell. There will be no formal funeral services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the American Cancer Society (129 Jefferson Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503), or to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
