Barry Onan, age 72, of Lowell, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026. He was preceded in death by parents, Hugh and Winnie Onan; brother, Rick Onan; brother-in-law, Charles Longfellow; and his mother-in-law, Arlene Longfellow.
Barry is lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Nancy Onan; his children, Mindy (Matt) Tiede, Coby (Janna) Onan, Stacey (Erik) Hays; 6 beautiful grandchildren who brought him great joy, Kadence, Brant, Owen, Brooks, Weston, Carter; brothers, Bill (Perrie) Onan, Mari (Rick) Onan; sister, Margaret Kreg; and his brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Deb Longfellow.
A graduate from Lowell High School in 1973, Barry had a devoted 34 year career working at Steelcase. He was also very passionate about fishing and other hobbies such as hunting, being outside, taking care of his property, and spending time with his family and friends.
