Barbara Elaine Sutter

Barbara Sutter, age 92 of Cascade Twp. passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Wednesday, May 22, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Gerald Sutter; granddaughter, Isabelle Sutter; grandson, Thaddeus Sutter; sister, Betty Merwin; brothers, Michael Currie, and Richard Nelson. Barbara is survived by her children, Pamela (Keith) Woods, Conrad (Mary) Sutter, Carolyn Sutter, Daniel (Melody) Sutter, Gerald (Judy) Sutter Jr., Monica (Britt) Hefty, Edmund (Corey) Sutter, Eric (Pauline) Chardoul-Sutter; 28 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and her family was the center of her life. She was a devout Catholic, an accomplished piano player and enjoyed spending time gardening for many years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am, Friday May 31, 2024, at St. Robert of Newminster Parish, 6477 Ada Dr SE, Ada, MI 49301 with visitation one-hour prior. Interment Cascade Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert of Newminster Catholic Church.
