Barbara Ann Merklinger, age 87 of Lowell, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Grace Wright; brother, William Wright; and baby girl, Terry Lee. Barb is survived by her husband of 67 years, Orville Merklinger; children, Beverly (Norman) Adcock, Dale (Karen) Merklinger, Dean (Kelly Stanger) Merklinger; grandchildren, Jason (Kris) Adcock, Shannan (George) Graham, Karley Merklinger, Cody Merklinger, Blaze Stanger; great grandchildren, Amya Adcock, Brayden, Liam, and Madi Graham, Courtney Roberts; siblings-in-law, Carl Merklinger, Art (Sandy) Merklinger, Carol Merklinger; and many nieces and nephews. Barb enjoyed bird watching, admiring the flower gardens built by her husband, shopping, sewing, and crafting. Barb served the Lowell community as a bus driver for over 20 years for the Lowell Area Schools. She will be remembered as a loving, caring, compassionate person. Private family services will be held.
