Barbara Ann Kuhn, age 93, of Grand Rapids passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Julia Breuhan; husband of 53 years, William E. Kuhn; sons, Shaun Kuhn (1978), Greg Kuhn (2007); and daughter-in-law, Renee Kuhn (2016). Barbara is survived by her sons, Rex (Rebecca) Kuhn, Eric Kuhn; grandchildren, Kristina (Gareth) Tanner, Michelle Kuhn, Rachael Kuhn, Alexis Kuhn; and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Leighton, and Kellan. She attended Grand Rapids JC where she met Bill in 1946 and the two married in 1948. Bill served in WWII and used his “war money” to build their home on Giddings, where they raised their children. Barbara lived on their dream until she moved to Beacon Hill in 2012. Barbara and Bill were a happy traveling family, taking their four sons throughout the country to National Parks. After Bill retired, the couple traveled to Egypt, Europe and throughout the United States. Barbara also traveled to China. She and Bill were founding members of St. Mary Magdalen Church, and were also avid square dancers for 30 years and members of Cascapers. Barbara was an ardent supporter of the Grand Rapids Art Museum, as such she was the longest standing docent “tour guide” in the museum’s history.   1. My Sympathies to Barb’s family on her death. I knew her from her years at St. Mary Magdalen. She was a lovely women. I worked with her in different ministries over the years. She and Bill were good friends with my parents. Again my heart felt sympathies to you all.
