Anthony H. Ortowski, age 74 of Ada, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 15, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Hazel Ortowski; sister, Madonna Obiedzinski. Anthony is survived by his sons, Bryan Ortowski, Jeffrey (Ashley) Ortowski; sister, Marie Vierson; brothers, Mike Ortowski, Steve Ortowski; and several nieces and nephews.
Anthony was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam era. He went on to work for and retire from Steelcase after over 30 years of service. Anthony enjoyed his retirement, maintaining his home in Ada.
Visitation will be held from 1-3pm on Monday, December 23, 2024, at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Road SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Memorial services will follow at 3pm. Interment Ada Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Anthony’s honor to the West Michigan Veterans Coalition, PO Box 355 Hudsonville, MI 49426.

I miss the days when we used to hang out with Willie…wish we would have maintained a closer relationship these days.
Tony was a friend of my brother Monty. Heard many a story about their antics. My deepest condolences to his family. He is pain free and Soaring high now.
