Andrew John Clark, aged 85, of Caledonia, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Carole Ann, his parents, Andrew Sims and Rose Clark, his mother and father-in-law, Charles and Alberta Shearston. Andrew is survived by his children, Andrew C Clark, Debbie Spence (Aaron Spence), Timothy Clark, Carolyn Clark Weist (Joel Weist); his grandchildren, Samantha Ripley, Shane Clark, Austin (Hallie) Clark, Jordan Ripley, Zachary Clark, and Leanna Clark; his great-grandson, Jaxon C Clark ; his best friend/caregiver Kimberly Brown; his sisters-in-law, Roberta Jones, Nanette Hertweck, and Jeannine Atwell; his brother-in-law, Rick Atwell; and his beloved family dog, Rusty.
Andrew graduated from Northeast Catholic High School for Boys, Philadelphia, PA, Class of 1958. He attended Drexel University with degree in Chemical Engineering. A Very Proud United States Marine! He had an active life taking care of his kids, his wife along with a passion for raising Beagles and Golden retriever’s. Loved fishing, hunting and running (25 Marathons). Finished his adventures loving golf. Although Dad’s physical presence is deeply missed, his memory remains a constant presence in our hearts, thoughts, and daily experiences. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, with visitation one-hour prior, at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Military Honors will be performed at 11:30 am Under the Auspices of Kent County Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Paws with a Cause.
