Andrew Gregg Wallace unexpectedly entered eternal rest on Saturday August 23rd, 2025, at the age of 54. Andrew was a bright, wonderful man who brought joy to so many people. Anyone who knows him can always come out of a single situation with a smile on their face and their minds repeating an amazing and funny story he had just finished telling.
Andrew was born at the formerly known Cedars of Lebanon hospital, now the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Hollywood, California on July 28th, 1971. Andrew was the only child to Dr. Julian Wallace and Mimi Wallace. Andrew then grew up in Beverly Hills in his early years and in an older apartment on Elm Drive. In the mid 70’s, the Wallace family then moved to the wonderful home on Wetherly Drive where his parents spent most of their years together.
Andrew attended school through the Beverly Hills school system, Beverly Hills Vista school then Beverly Hills High School. At the age of 14 he had transferred to the Cascade boarding school, where he got his high school diploma. He then moved to Santa Barbara for a few years in the early 90’s, where he took classes for some time at Santa Barbara Community College. In Michigan he took some more classes at Grand Rapids Community college, in his 40’s.
Andrew moved to Michigan in 1997 at 26 years old. He then met the love of his life, Amy Noonon at his job at Compulit where he did Computerized Litigation Support on 44th Street in Kentwood Michigan. Andrew worked at Compulit for 17 years and in that time, Andrew and Amy had two beautiful children together. In that time, he had also relocated to Jenison Michigan where he spent the last of his days. Andrew had several odd jobs in between 2014 and 2021 but then found his true love for customer service where he worked from home at Apple for 4 years with a small break in between. He loved his job, and he loved to always help people.
He was so proud of his two daughters, going to school to make it big in life. Madison, the oldest, is a senior at Grand Valley State University as a Communications major. Her dream is to become a world known actress. She has been in multiple shows through GVSU, of which Andrew was her #1 biggest fan and supporter. His youngest, Jordan, Is in her second semester at Grand Rapids Community College as a Psychology major. She is looking to transfer to GVSU after earning her associates degree. Her dream is to be a Criminal Psychologist, and to become the next Dr. Wallace in honor of her grandfather, Dr Julian Wallace. Andrew was surprised and so very proud of her because of that small statement.
Andrew enjoyed so many things in life. He enjoyed Star Trek and Elf Quest, spending time with his friends, playing Dungeons and Dragons, watching Star Wars and South Park and many many more. He loved gaming as well, whether it would be Tekken, Diablo, he always knew how to have fun.
The one thing he would do and hold so very close to his heart, was spending time with his soulmate and his daughters.
Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Julian Wallace and his two beloved dogs, Ashley and Amanda Wallace.
Andrew is survived by his soulmate and fiancé, Amy Jo Noonon, his two daughters Madison Nicole Wallace (Mason Medina), and Jordan Mia Wallace (Ethan Fountain). He helped raise and paternally adopted Kristina Lynn Self (Erik), and Alexis Marie Long (Sam). Saddened to hear about Andrew, he was one of the first people to welcome me into the compulit fold back in 1998. He was always kind to everyone and always had a smile on his face. I think of him every time Star Trek is on as he introduced me to it. We had a lot of laughs back in the day, he will be missed. 💔
I will miss my dear friend . I will miss his witty sense of humor, his laugh, and our many memories growing up together through the years. Andrew was loved by so many, he mattered and he made an incredible impact on all those blessed to know him. Rest in peace brother.
Earth won’t ever be the same since you beamed up, my friend. I am so much more me because of you. I love you and Qapla!
Andrew’s vivacity, humor, and passion for whom and what he loved was inspiring and refreshing in my days working with him at Compulit years ago. I am saddened he is gone, but will remember his stories and his unfailing ability to make our second shift gang laugh, even in some of the most pressure-packed deadline situations.
Our heart is broken. We loved your Dad and have many wonderful memories of him as he grew up. We liked to see the pictures of you and Maddie that he posted of Facebook. He was so proud of you both.
Shocked and saddened about this news. Andrew was a good friend of mine in elementary school and we reconnected on social media a little over 8 years ago. My deep condolences to your family. May his memory be a blessing.
Andrew you were loved by many and made an impact on us all. We were children when we met (you were just 10 and I was 14) and as your former babysitter I do have so many fond memories! I was so happy we reconnected as adults when you found me, and to bond over our love of all things Star Trek as well as so many other things. Your wit and humor will certainly be missed by us all. QAPLA my friend!
