Alicia Ann Wood

Alicia Ann Wood, age 65 of Grand Rapids passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Lund; father-in-law, Charles Wood; and mother-in-law, Iva Wood. Alicia is survived by her husband of 33 years, Michael Wood; children, Amanda (Mike) Elder, Chuck Wood, Jeanna Wood; grandchildren, Hunter & Onalee Smith, Lana & Avery Wood, Brian & Julia Elder; mother, Marjorie Lund; and the sweetest most loyal cat, Moo. Alicia graduated from Greenville High School in 1975. She then attended Central Michigan University and Oakland University earning her bachelor’s degree where she worked as a physical therapist. She enjoyed watching football and basketball and walking with her husband. Alicia loved supporting her family whether it was watching Julia play softball, Brian in his scouting life, or Onalee at her concerts which gave her so much joy. Her love for family was very transparent in how she lovingly cared for her mother for almost 6 years.  A Celebration of Life is being held at Rockford Baptist Church, 221 Courtland St, Rockford, MI 49341 on August 12, 2023, from 10:00am-1:00pm.
